C6 Corvette GM OEM LS3 Intake Manifold Cover, LS3 Skull Cap

It is simply a sound insulator to reduce audible valve train noise. It was introduced with the LS3 and at the same time as the change to the insulated fuel rail covers. We offer these Stock OEM covers so you can Paint or mdifiy them for Car Show and Engine detailing. Requires removal of fuel rails but not Intake Manifold itself.
