Katech Track Attack LT 427 Camshaft
Katech, Inc. has been in the racing industry for 45 years and knows that the key to a winning engine is durable valvetrain which starts with the camshaft. Not only do our camshaft packages make great power, but the durability on them is second to none. What makes our camshafts so great is our ability to analyze the valve while it is in motion on our Optron spin cell. This is a claim that few people in the industry can make, especially since we were one of the first companies to use this technology. With our involvement in the C5-R race program, we can safely claim that there has never once been a failure due to insufficient valvetrain design.
What this means is you will get the most durable, highest revving cam package that is on the market today. You can also be assured that every aspect of the camshaft has been designed for great power and superb driveability. Note, check fuel pump preload on all engines but especially on LT2 applications.
The Track Attack 427 camshaft is optimized for 12.5:1+ compression ratios and the MSD Atomic intake manifold. This provides maximum horsepower & torque with hood clearance for all C7 Corvette/Gen 6 Camaro owners.
Suggested Valvetrain: PSI1516 or PSI1512 Valve Springs, Katech/Johnson 2116LSR Lifters, Katech Locators, Katech Tool Steel or Titanium Retainers.
Cam Specs: 242/258 @ .050, .648/.639 lift, 113+2.5 LSA 32% fuel lobe
Fits all Gen 5 LT engines. Aftermarket pistons with larger valve reliefs required.
