Kent Moore J-42172 C5 and C6 Corvette 1997-2013, Pinion Nut and Bearing Race Installer Tool, Used when rebuilding Differentials.

Estimated Ship Date  

1997-2013 Y-Car. The spanner side of tool J-42172 is required to remove and install the drive pinion nut from the drive pinion. The opposite side of this tool is required to install the drive pinion front bearing inner race to the drive pinion housing, and to install the side cover bearings into the left and right side covers. The tool is used with a hydraulic press to install the side cover bearings and the drive pinion front bearing inner race. This tool is used with tool J-42164 to remove the drive pinion nut, and with a torque wrench to install the drive pinion nut, to prevent damage to the drive pinion.
