05 to 07 Corvettes have scotch guard coating on the dashes. It has something to due with the fact that the C6 dashes had to be dyed...due to an EPA requirement because of poisonous materials in the molded vinyl in all cars everything from Kia to BMW. So GM as a safety measure to keep the dye from rubbing off put scotch guard on them. To get these letters to stick to these dashes use a product by 3M called Primer 94. It is used mostly by paint and body shops, and is available at many parts stores or online..but it makes the logos stick! You apply it using the primer 94 pen in the recess let it set for 5 minutes and then apply the letters.
