The GMOS-LAN-05 Interface is designed to allow the user to replace the OEM Radio with an aftermarket unit in the 2008 GM vehicles equipped with Bose Digital Audio Systems that uses the new GMLAN Data Bus System and retain full functionality of the OnStar Systems as well as all saftey and warning chimes. The GMOS-LAN-05 will also retain the retained accessory power convenience features. This interface has the capability of adjusting chimes and OnStar volumes as well. In addition to these features, the GMOS-LAN-05 now has the required outputs for the installation of a navigation radio. This is a special order item and is non-returnable.
