Introducing the DBA 5000 Series—innovative 2-piece composite brake rotors designed as a direct replacement for your C8 Corvette Z51.

Crafted with precision, DBA employs only the highest quality materials to guarantee optimal performance under the most demanding conditions. This includes high carbon cast iron rings seamlessly integrated with aerospace-grade aluminum hats (T6061-T6), bound together using National Aerospace Standards (NAS) bolts and crimp nuts.

The 5000 Series inherits all the cutting-edge technology showcased in the 4000 Series, amplifying performance with added advantages such as substantial weight reduction and enhanced heat management, thanks to the incorporation of aluminum hats.

Featuring DBA's Kangaroo Paw ventilation that implements a series of 144 diamond and teardrop patterned pillars, DBA achieves up to a 30% increase in surface area and 20% improvement in cooling efficiency (as compared to a traditionally straight vane design).

The use of aerospace-grade aluminum hats not only reduces the unsprung weight of the brake rotors but also ensures uniform radial disc expansion across the cast iron rings. Aluma-lite centre hat / bell made from extra lightweight 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum, reducing the unsprung weight for better vehicle handling and minimizing heat transfer to the wheel hubs.
