Description:

Unlock the full potential of your C8 Corvette with this custom tune from Bad News Racing. Enjoy a brand new driving experience with more horsepower, throttle response and multiple power maps. How does it work?

We have you remove your Engine Control Module (ECM) and ship it to HPTuners to get unlocked. They'll ship it back to you in 1-2 business days.
We ship you an HPTuners MPVI3 tuning device that has already been loaded with the credits/licenses need to access your vehicle.
You will use a Windows based laptop to interface with the MPVI3 and your Corvette, and perform a stock tune backup. We are available to assist in any way necessary, including even remote controlling your laptop if needed to get this done.
You email that backup file to us, we reply with a custom BNR tune made to your specifications for your mods and requested tune features.
You load this to the car using the Windows laptop, and then perform a driving data log to collect data for us using the laptop and interface. Again we can assist with this via phone and remote control of laptop if needed.
Our in house tuner will work with you directly to get the vehicle performing exactly how you want while remaining completely safe and emissions compliant in most states.
If you add bolt-on modifications later on, you simply let us know, and we will retune the car for free. We do charge for different fuel types, flex fuel sensor tuning, aftermarket cams, nitrous, etc.

Optional Features include:

Multiple power maps. You can have different power levels in tour, sport, track modes. (Optional add-on feature)
Multiple levels of ghost cam, we can work with you to dial in how choppy you want it. Ghost cam is only active at idle and does not put any additional wear on any components. It makes the vehicle sound like it has an aftermarket big camshaft installed and the vehicle will shake slightly side to side with the chops. (Optional add-on feature)
Burble/Crackle/Flame tuning. Mild burbles, loud pops and bangs, and even flames from the exhaust are possible. (Optional add-on feature)
Multiple Fuel Tunes available (must swap tunes with laptop to swap fuels)

Important Notes:

*You will need a Windows computer to download the tuning software and to send/receivefiles to load to the handheld. Software is NOT compatible with Apple operating systems or tablets running Windows RT.
Tuning is a service, not a product, and is non-refundable once tuning has begun. Subject to discretion of BNR Staff.
