Core Shifters EXCLUSIVE!! This is a custom short throw shifter with a Core Shifters base that contains a readily available Hurst "Billet/Plus 2" component set (supplied by Hurst) inside a custom housing (not produced by Hurst, but 100% made in USA). It includes a Hurst chrome stick and knob, along with a boot grommet, base gasket, and installation instructions. On all models, the factory leather console boot attaches to the supplied boot support grommet (without modification), for a professional, finished look. Throw reduction is 30% (most aftermarket shifters are too aggressive - this one is ideal!).

This shifter uses the stock shifter mounting bolts. Otherwise, this kit comes with everything else needed for installation (beyond simple tools).

STICK INFO: Hurst # 538-7201, chrome plated steel, 6" tall, bends 1/2" rearward. 3/8"-16 knob threads. All Hurst sticks have 3/8" holes spaced apart 7/8" on center. Stick is also sold alone in my other listings (not compatible any other Corvette shifter).
KNOB INFO: High quality billiard ball-type knob produced by Hurst's supplier, with true engraved 7 speed pattern on top and plain sides. 1 7/8" diameter with 3/8"-16 threaded brass insert, Hurst jam nut is included.
