CBM Billet Camaro Conversion Alternator Bracket LS1 LS2 LS3 LS7

CBM Custom alternator bracket for LS style engines. This bracket was designed from the ground up to resolve issues with the Corvette belt line. It is perfect for transplant applications or high horsepower motors. This bracket is machined from 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum. This alternator bracket allows the use of a 1998-2002 Camaro style alternator to be used on the Corvette belt line. (some block castings may need to be grinded 1/16" for additional clearance for the alternator housing)  This also allows the power steering to be relocated in a more accessible location above the alternator. The bracket is significantly stronger than the factory cast aluminum piece. It easily holds the additional stress of supercharged motors running a high tension on the belt. This is for billet alternator bracket only.
