C6 Corvette 05-13 Front & Rear Lowering Cushions

Zip Corvette's research & development team created a new lowering kit for your C6 Corvette which will help give your Corvette the attitude you're looking for. These new polyurethane bushings install over your EXISTING spring adjusting bolts once the original rubber bushing has been removed. Installation requires disassembly of your front & rear suspension, cutting the original rubber bushings off the factory bolts and slipping our new bushings over the bolt heads, protecting your aluminum control arms. Zip's polyurethane cushions were custom designed for your C6 Corvette's suspension. The top surface is NOT flat like factory rubber bushing. Flat polyurthane bushings will bind as the suspension actuates causing the bushing to tear - Zip's bushings are designed with a convex radius that allows the bushing to slide as the control arms pivot. Our bushings are also designed to snap over the spring bolt rather than being permanently attached - this design keeps the bushing from breaking away from the adjustment bolt as the suspension moves.
