The factory aluminum pistons are a huge heat sink, rapidly transmitting heat from the pads into the fluid. DRM’s stainless steel pistons insulate the fluid resulting in a more consistent brake pedal and less chance of fluid boil. When high performance or racing pads are used these pistons are considered a must. This is for a set of (12) front pistons.
