This short block is built to the specs of the very first boosted Grubbworm engine, with a couple of improvements!  We rate this short block to handle up to 1200 hp, no block filler!!

Here is what you get:

• DSS FX Series Forged 2618 pistons with either -5 or -13 cc dish volume to work with typical aftermarket 64cc heads or 55cc stock castings respectively
• Upgraded wrist pins
• Total Seal AP ring set
• Scat Forged 4340 3.480" stroke crankshaft
• Molnar PWR ADR H-beam connecting rods
• Clevite H series rod and main bearings
• Durabond HP cam bearings
• Brass Freeze Plug kit
• Howards Billet splayed main caps for 3 center mains
• ARP main stud kit for use with windage tray

Machine work includes:

• Bore and hone with torque plates
• Line bore and hone mains for splayed caps and ARP fasteners
• Machine 2 bolt block to accept 4 bolt caps
• mill / square deck surface
• Shot peen block to remove all paint and rust scale
• Balance rotating assembly
• Thread front oil galley plugs for screw in plugs
• Thread water holes in deck for reducer bushings to brace deck surface and help fight against cracking

$500 core charge will be refunded for those who wish to go with a block we provide and then ship us their existing block later on provided it is a good, usable core (no spun cam or main bearings, no cracks, etc).

Shipping charges not included!  We can arrange shipment of your engine block core as well if desired!
